Closed, Project Archived

Project: Arts Based Learning Labs focus on the question, "What can the body know and why does it matter?"  Participants to explore paralinguistics, emotions, and gestures as pathways to understanding.

  • What is the role of the body in how we construct knowledge?

  • How can the body uncover assumptions that drive our perceptions?

  • How can the body relate to affective states and how they influence our discourse, reasoning, and understanding?

  • How might noticing our bodies reveal power structures existing below the surface that influence our experience?

  • How does the body signal when we are most and least engaged?
