Facilitation

Convene with purpose. I hold containers for the messy conversations necessary for collective action.  I work with partners to design group processes around their goals with theories, methods, and approaches that help groups share understanding and make meaning together. My work is grounded in human development and complex systems research and influenced by Theory U, Interpersonal and Group Dynamics, Art of Hosting, Center for Leadership and Educational Equity, The Ganz Model of Organizing, and somatic practices among other facilitative traditions.

Networks | Communities of Practice | Learning Cohorts

Get organized for systems level learning!  Set up structures, formats, and facilitative approaches to support shared goals.

Community Engagement

Who is being impacted by your work and how are they benefitting from it or involved in the process? Develop a community engagement approach that generates shared learning and value.

Workshops | Conferences

Start with the outcomes you want to harvest and plan workshops and conferences backwards to accomplish your purpose. I can work with your team to clarify themes, identify experts, and design group processes to generate and share knowledge.

Strategic Planning

Clarify your vision, mission, goals, and tactics by  co-creating  a theory of change with the groups to whom you feel most responsible and connecting it to meaningful shared  action.

Meredith Dodd

Lead Teacher, University of Chicago Lab School

“Kristin has a gift for synthesizing complex information. In our second year together the group continues to use Kristin’s visual documentation as a tool to keep our collaborative work on track. Kristin’s expert facilitation allowed our group to settle into deep dialogue and develop a group confidence to discuss difficult topics.”
